Digital Audio Data Analyst

You will report to the Head of Audience insight and intelligence and be part of the Central Digital team. This is an exciting role where you will work closely with the wider teams, including commercial, Editorial and Data and Science Analytics.
This is a new role within the Audio\'s Central Digital Team and will work closely with the wider teams such as \'Commercial\', \'Editorial\' and \'Data Science & Analytics\'.
You will support teams across markets. using data driven insight, to support understanding of performance and improve customer experience on digital products. You will use your knowledge and experience in data strategy to identify new approaches, supporting the multiple teams with strategic thinking and value.

What the job looks like:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify where data analytics can add value
  • Supporting the product teams working across digital platforms (e.g., mobile, web and smart speakers) to provide insight into customer usage and how to improve experiences
  • Collaborate with Content, Marketing, Commercial and Product teams and use these relationships to help scope projects.
  • Be the liaison between the Media\'s central data infrastructure team and the wider Audio business, responsible for the briefing into and prioritisation of Audio data projects
  • Comfortable working and communicating requirements across wider teams
  • Help visualise data and present it in a meaningful way to non-technical stakeholders
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
  • Passion for data
  • Understanding of value creation opportunities from use of data
  • Possess a high level of commercial acumen
  • Comfortable embracing ambiguity, thrive in a start-up environment whilst able to navigate a large matrix organisation
  • Resilience under pressure and at your best when there are lots of moving parts
  • Experience working successfully with senior management
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and issues to non-experts
  • A good understanding of digital media products is desirable
  • Expert knowledge of data tools such as Looker or Tableau
