Responsibilities
You may be working on tasks such as:
Reviewing the design of 5G and 4G mobile masts to ensure vital standards are met. This requires the ability to learn key information quickly and to accurately interpret maps, imagery and site drawings.
Using and further developing in-house analytic toolsets to extract key data from drawings, run database queries and operate data mining and web-scraping tools.
You will bring your attention to detail and analytical mind to ensure any problems are quickly, clearly and accurately defined.
As consultants, you will liaise with the client's technical staff, so you will need to demonstrate communication skills and be willing to develop an increasing understanding of how mobile wireless networks are planned and rolled out.
Other projects you will likely be involved in as you develop your career within Metricell include
Working on 5G performance measurement and evaluation projects. Here you are likely to be involved in data analytics using SQL and Python, as well as test planning and mapping using GIS tools like QGIS, and the scheduling and routing of test vehicles using AI.
Working with crowd-sourced Big Data datasets using tools like Zeppelin.
Using SQL and data visualisation tools (like Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset, etc) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within datasets related to telecommunications.
Developing predictive models, clustering algorithms, and segmentation strategies to support business forcasting, customer profiling and market segmentation initiatives.
Translating complex data findings into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and data-driven solutions for senior management, executives, and key stakeholders.
Creating sophisticated data visualisations, interactive dashboards, and executive-level reports to communicate key metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators effectively.
Automating reporting processes using Python, develop data pipelines, and ensure data accuracy, consistency and statistical validity in reporting outputs.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within Metricell including project managers and developers.
Ensuring Sales Agency partners are sufficiently trained and successfully representing our technology
Skills & Qualifications
Analytical mind with excellent attention to detail & a pragmatic approach to problems.
Strong Python skills for cleaning data, data mining & data visualisation.
Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting tools.
Good excel knowledge.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of telecommunications and computer networking.
Technical background and ability to learn quickly
Desirable
Degree in a science or engineering subject
Knowledge of Mobile/Cellular network technology
Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
Previous experience in an analytical role
Ability to be security cleared for future projects
Able to be security cleared (Having lived and worked in the UK continuously for at least 5 years)
