Voltempo is developing Hyper Rapid DC charging solutions for a range of commercial vehicle sectors, initially here in the UK, but progressively, as the transport sector electrifies, internationally. The company holds several international patents, it is engaged in the end-to-end design, supply, site commissioning and servicing of charging solutions, targeting commercial vehicles. The business is currently scaling and is well supported by both its international shareholders and its role under the UK Govt eFreight programme, where it is leading a consortium of UK logistics fleet operators to deploy the UK first eHGVs charging network.

About the Role

:

This data analyst role will play a critical role in analysing and optimizing charging infrastructure, energy consumption, and operational efficiency for electric heavy goods vehicles and freight. You will leverage data to enhance performance, reduce costs, and support the growth of sustainable transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities



Gather, clean, and analyse large datasets related to EV charging, fleet operations, and energy consumption.

Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Monitor key performance metrics for charging stations, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.

Identify trends in charging demand and energy consumption to inform infrastructure planning.

Work closely with engineering and operations teams to improve charging strategies and fleet performance.

Conduct predictive modelling and forecasting for charging network expansion.

Ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools (SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Strong knowledge of data visualization techniques.

Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.

Familiarity with the EV charging industry and heavy goods vehicle operations is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience



Experience in

transport, logistics, EV charging, or renewable energy

sectors.

Understanding of IoT data and smart grid technologies.

Knowledge of machine learning applications in predictive analytics.
