Position Overview



We are looking for a Data & Analytics Architect to join our Professional Services business. In this role, you would be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role also gives the opportunity to work in converting pre-sales conversations into opportunities.



The right candidate will also have the opportunity to manage and grow our Data & Analytics team, which would involve guiding and leading on strategic initiatives that are both project-specific and department-wide.

Salary & Benefits



The budgeted salary for this role is between

80,000 and 100,000 a year

, depending on experience.

Responsibilities



Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Leading a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts and BI developers Defining and driving data strategy aligned with business goals Managing project delivery timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Representing the data architecture function in executive and strategic planning meetings Participating in the pre-sales process (performing estimates, responding to bids)

Qualifications & Experience




For this role, the right candidate will have this technical experience:

Expertise with Microsoft Fabric Expertise in Power BI Demonstrable experience with the Azure Data Stack Expertise in Azure Data Factory Strong data modelling skills Knowledge of Databricks Past experience with DAX, SQL, Spark and Python

You will also possess

at least one

of these accreditations:

DP-600: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate

DP-700: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate

DP-203: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate



Proven leadership experience in a technical environment and experience of working in pre-sales are a bonus, but are not essential to apply.


Please note you need to be eligible to undergo the UK

security clearance (SC) process

to be considered for this role. For this reason you will need to be a British national with 5 years residency in the UK.
