Job summary

Ofgem is Great Britain's independent energy regulator. Our primary responsibility is to protect energy consumers, especially the most vulnerable, while at the same time working with government, industry and consumer groups to deliver a clean, more affordable and secure net-zero energy system at the lowest cost to consumers, and drive economic growth.

We're looking for a Data and AI Delivery Associate to join our Data Delivery Team within the Data and AI function in a brand-new role that offers the chance to shape how Ofgem delivers innovative data products and AI solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our digital transformation, helping us harness data and technology to improve efficiency and deliver better outcomes for consumers.

In this role, you'll help coordinate and manage a portfolio of data and AI projects. From planning and tracking delivery timelines to producing clear, insightful reports and dashboards, your work will help ensure projects run smoothly and deliver real value. You'll collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, giving you exposure to a wide range of disciplines and the chance to develop your understanding of cutting-edge data and AI solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who has experience or interest in delivery management and wants to learn more about data and AI. You'll bring strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively. A keen eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone who is curious and eager to learn about data products such as interactive dashboards, data pipelines and AI tools. Familiarity with project management tools or methodologies is desirable, but not essential - what matters most is your ability to plan, prioritise and deliver at pace.

You'll join a collaborative and inclusive team that values diversity and innovation, giving the chance to contribute to nationally significant work, supporting Ofgem's mission to accelerate the transition to Net Zero while protecting consumers.

If you're ready to make an impact and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we'd love to hear from you!
