Data and Insight Officer
Refugee Charity
32,900 35hrs/week, permanent
Hybrid - 1 day per week in the east London office
Option for 0.8hrs and pro rata salary
Join a fantastic team with a fun and friendly community atmosphere and help develop and roll out new data protocols, improve database training and work on reports as well as ensure fundraising data is recorded and used correctly. You'll have the chance to learn ThankQ CRM and develop your skills in data and analytics.
The purpose of the role is to:

  • ensure that the fundraising database is as efficient, legal, compliant and effective as possible
  • liaise with internal stake holders to meet their needs around training
  • provide robust and compliant data/financial information for reporting to numerous stakeholders at all levels from Managers to Trustees supporting:
  • income generation
  • business plans
  • strategic objectives
  • communications
  • marketing
  • and advocacy.
Essential Experience
Working in database administration in a charity or fundraising department
Accountable for processing financial information/income
Generating and running financial and data reports
Creating and presenting well written information and data reports
Providing training and supporting colleagues to use a database
Supporting systems to manage legal and financial compliance
Understanding of databases and good client and financial data management
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non technical colleagues
Understanding of GDPR, PCI compliance and Gift Aid processes
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
