About the Role
In this role, you'll support the Children and Families Directorate and work closely with service teams, data and digital colleagues in developing intelligence, analysis and performance systems and products. You will play a key role in supporting the performance management framework for the Directorate using your knowledge and skills to develop insight and reporting tools.
The role offers opportunities to work on innovative projects and test out tools and technologies for supporting improved ways of working, supporting our modern data platform and cross-agency collaboration. Our data, intelligence and analysis underpin strategies and programmes to safeguard children and young people and improve their outcomes. As such, everything you do will be evidence-based, geared towards continuous improvement, and compliant with data protection legislation.
About You
An established professional with a degree-level qualification, you'll have substantial experience and an excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data management, transformation and analysis. You'll have excellent technical skills, particularly in Power BI and SQL, coupled with an ability to develop these skills in others, contributing to the team's ethos of continuous learning and improvement.
You'll combine advanced analytical skills with a can-do approach to problem-solving, working with teams to find new data sources, improving processes and testing innovative approaches to create insightful intelligence.
You'll be an experienced, creative and passionate advocate for children and young people, with experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, stakeholders, and external organisations.
