Responsibilities:

• Technical Data Design: Utilize your extensive expertise to create and implement comprehensive data architecture solutions that meet the unique needs of our public sector organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, standards, and guidelines.
• Data Migration: Lead and guide the technical design of data migration projects, ensuring seamless and efficient transfer of data from Legacy systems to modern platforms. Develop strategies for data mapping, transformation, and integration to support migration efforts.
• Data Extraction, Transformation & Segregation: Serve as a key focal point in understanding, strategizing, and executing data extraction, transformation, and segregation processes. Develop innovative approaches to cleanse, organize, and structure data for optimal utilization.
• Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Clearly articulate complex data concepts and solutions to both technical teams and senior leadership. Collaborate effectively with data engineers, analysts, and project managers.
• Leadership: Provide strong leadership in guiding the data architecture team. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example and promote a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Data Architect, with a track record of successful data architecture design and implementation in the public sector or relevant industries.
• Expertise in technical data design, including data modelling, data integration, and data life cycle management.
• Proficiency in data migration strategies and execution, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance throughout the process.
• In-depth understanding of data extraction, transformation, and segregation techniques, with a focus on optimizing data quality and usability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Industry certifications related to data architecture and management (eg, Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
