Role Description


The Associate will join our London office as a member of the Central Data Team. This individual will be a key part of a newly established and growing team responsible for all areas of data and data analytics. The Associate will play a significant role in the firm's effort to enhance our core data function. The Associate is expected to gain exposure to and have a full understanding of our investment process and to develop an understanding of all parts of the business. They will also be expected to contribute to broader firm development through participation in specific projects or initiatives, particularly with regards to the wider Central Data Team. Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships is critical to success in this role.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Data Integrity: Act as Data Steward to ensure Client Data is complete and accurately captured. Help maintain data documentation and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Data Collection & Processing: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organising large datasets from multiple sources. Data Analysis: Learn how to perform basic data analysis and generate actionable insights using various tools and techniques. Reporting & Visualisation: Help create reports and data visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders, learning how to present data in an easy-to-understand format. Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and contribute to ongoing projects. Contributing to key strategic project and process enhancements across the business. System Support: Work with internal databases and support on our third-party systems. Be responsible for ensuring all information security processes, policies and procedures are adhered to and any issues or concerns are raised with the Cyber Security team. Ensure full compliance with all local data protection regulations and privacy controls, and any related issues are raised via the appropriate channels.

A strong numerical background with a Mathematics A-Level preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in data or analytics work experience or internships preferred but not required. Can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be very comfortable working with numbers. Proven problem-solving skills and demonstrating logical thinking patterns. An ability to prioritise daily workload whilst working efficiently and accurately under pressure. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced investment environment. Be an articulate self-starter with strong analytical and organisational skills. Able to communicate effectively with peers and senior members of the wider team. Have a high degree of integrity and professionalism and be a collaborative "team player". Proficiency using Microsoft Suite.
