This is an excellent opportunity to join our team ! You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) collaborating with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data products into our a new data architecture, driving innovation and optimising data utilisation.

We are seeking a hardworking Data Design Engineer to support our data transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of a modern data platform powered by consumer data products.
We're looking for a track record of the required experience shown on a real production platform is a must, as are a "can-do" attitude, capability of bootstrapping projects, and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal and external distributed teams across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable data solutions on GCP, ensuring alignment with our data transformation goals
Collaborate with data producers and consumers to integrate consumer data products into the data mesh.
Advocate for best practices in data design and GCP usage across the organisation.
Tackle and resolve complex data design challenges.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and processes.
Align data solutions with group data governance and control frameworks to support overall risk reduction.
Key skills:Proven experience in data design and engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of data mesh architecture and consumer data products.
Strong understanding of Dimensional and Normalised data modeling
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for data-driven decision-making and innovation.
