Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:



Take the lead role in strategic planning for the development of the School's MIS system. Full responsibility for the MIS roadmap, to be the lead contact for MIS updates/upgrades. Facilitate the collection and dissemination of pupil assessment information. Liaise with the Deputy Head (Academic) for the efficient delivery and development of all pupil school reports. To constantly appraise school data methodology and work with the Data Administrator to improve its quality and efficiency. Provide assessment analysis to the School's Senior Leadership Team to set performance related targets for curriculum areas. Assist in the formulation of subject targets for pupils. Assist teaching staff and school leadership in making full use of the data available to them. Provide user guides and work with the IT Development Manager to provide appropriate training for system users. Participate in MIS vendor events and training sessions. Assist in training other members of staff in the school assessment process, its timeline and expectations Plan and lead the administration of the start and end of year procedures within the School, including managing the transition of the Timetable from the Keith Johnson Timetable program to the MIS system. Work with the Deputy Head (Academic) to ensure system housekeeping routines are carried out on a regular basis and that all systems and processes are GDPR compliant. Provide oversight and management of the whole student reporting process. Assist the Examinations Officer to develop reports for external examination management. Understanding and leading on school CENSUS as and when required
Full responsibility for the management of the bespoke school pupil tracking system, including development and improvements to the system.

Prepare all tracking data and school report input templates for teaching staff, publishing these on the dates set by the Deputy Head (Academic), as detailed in the

P.E.A.R (Parents Evening and Reports) Grid and monitoring their completion.

Set deadlines and priorities for the School's Data Administrator as regards to the Tracking process.

Determine the need and arrange provision, analysis and evaluation of data and detailed reports as necessary.

Provide data and insight to support teaching and learning throughout the School through a variety of methods.

Set deadlines and priorities for the School's Data Administrator as regards to the Reporting process.

Provide quality assurance of all reporting to ensure high-level data accuracy.

Draw up, maintain and implement an effective school timetable.

Work with the Deputy Head (Academic) to implement the Curriculum Plan.

Keep up to date with the Timetable software.

Monitor and evaluate the current timetable and discuss possible future changes with the Deputy Head (Academic).

Manage and administer all third party software that utilises MIS information including ParentPay, School Portal, Satchel One Office 365. Ensure data security of the third party companies and GDPR compliance.

Assist the IT Support Team with general IT support for the administrative staff and teachers as required.

Participate in Administrative Staff meetings.

Retrieve historical data from the data archives as required.

Maintain archiving Data as and where necessary

Any other duties as reasonably requested by the IT Development Manager or Headmistress.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
