Data Engineer

Bristol (Hybrid)

Are you ready to make a real impact with data? A Bristol based digital consultancy is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to help public sector clients unlock the power of data. You'll design and build modern data infrastructure using tools like Azure, AWS, Python, and PySpark, and play a key role in developing internal digital products too.

Please note that you MUST be eligible for SC clearance and both willing/able to commute to Bristol 1-2 days per week.

What You'll Do:

Design and implement cloud-native data solutions (Azure, AWS)

Translate client needs into scalable, efficient architecture

Consult on best practice in data engineering and integration

Collaborate across teams to exceed client expectations

What You'll Bring:

Strong experience with Azure (certification a plus)

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based data pipelines

Ability to work directly with clients and communicate technical ideas with confidence

Knowledge of data modelling and architecture best practices
