Are you passionate about building scalable data systems and solving complex technical challenges? We're looking for a

Software Engineer or Data Engineer

(Mid-to-Senior level) to join our dynamic, global team. This is a remote-first role ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, solid coding ability, and a desire to work on high-impact projects.


This role may not be suitable for recent graduates, as it requires working independently on complex problems and occasionally liaising directly with clients.

Our technology delivers high-value decision recommendations, acting as role-specific co-pilots to augment human intelligence or enable autonomous execution systems. What You'll Be Working On



Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines (streaming and batch). Developing real-time data processing solutions with

Apache Flink

. Implementing robust data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows. Collaborating across teams (Data Scientists, DevOps, Product) to create data-driven solutions. Improving data architecture, monitoring, observability, and governance practices. Managing schema evolution, data quality, and recovery logic in pipelines. Contributing to documentation, CI/CD processes, and production deployments.

What We're Looking For



Experience in

Software Engineering

with a focus on data systems. Knowledge of stream processing concepts (event time, watermarks, windowing). Proficient in

Java

and

NodeJS

(Python is a plus). Familiar with

OOP

and

functional programming

. Skilled in

SQL

and experience with both

relational and NoSQL

databases. Hands-on experience with

message queues

(e.g., NATS, Pub/Sub). Comfortable with

cloud-native environments

(GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Solid understanding of

DevOps

, CI/CD, and testing practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points For:



Familiarity with Apache Flink and/or Spark

is a strong advantage! Experience with BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake. Knowledge of Helm, Istio, Jenkins, or Terraform. Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana. Understanding of GDPR/CCPA compliance
