Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain
ETL/ELT pipelines
for structured and unstructured data sources.
Work with modern
cloud-based data platforms
(e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver clean, well-structured datasets.
Develop and maintain
data models
,
data warehouses
, and
data lakes
.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance policies.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure issues.
Continuously learn and apply best practices in data engineering and software development.
Required Skills & Experience
0-5 years of experience in a
data engineering
or related software/data role.
Proficiency in
SQL
and at least one programming language such as
Python
or
Scala
.
Understanding of data pipeline principles, data modelling, and database systems.
Exposure to
cloud platforms
(e.g., AWS S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, etc.).
Basic understanding of
ETL tools
or frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Luigi) -- project or academic experience counts.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Pay: 28,000.00-65,000.00 per year
