Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
Develop data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
Work with structured and unstructured data across various platforms
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions
Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Implement best practices for data security, data governance, and data quality
Troubleshoot, refine, and improve existing data workflows and systems
Support cloud-based data architecture and infrastructure initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
0-15 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools or ETL frameworks
Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
Understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Databricks)
Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and data architecture principles
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote environment
Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub)
Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Understanding of data governance, metadata management, or MDM
Exposure to machine learning pipelines or feature engineering
