JD.com is seeking a Risk Control Data Engineer to build and optimize the data foundations that power our global e-commerce risk management systems. In this role, you will design and maintain large-scale real-time and offline data pipelines, develop scalable data storage solutions, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data supporting risk detection and decision-making. Working closely with product management, engineering, and risk strategy teams, you will tackle complex challenges involving big data, cross-border transactions, and fraud prevention. This position offers the opportunity to directly safeguard Joybuy's platform integrity and customer trust while contributing to the growth of our international e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities

========================

Design and build real-time and offline data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, or Flink to support risk control applications. Develop and manage scalable data storage solutions (data warehouses/lakes) for multi-source heterogeneous data. Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and SQL optimization to ensure data accuracy and performance. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide reliable data foundations for risk detection and decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

==========================

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field. 3+ years of data engineering experience. Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases. Hands-on experience with big data technologies and a solid understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT processes. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala). Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance; proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects; analyze and execute work efficiently; collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; and thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments. Effective communication skills in Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in risk control, cross-border, payment, or e-commerce data systems. Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, and compliance practices. Experience working with large-scale datasets (TB-PB level) and distributed data processing.
