In line with continual company growth, we are looking to recruit a talented Data Engineer to join us. Working within the Development and IT team, and with the Data Analyst you will report to the Head of Development. Your responsibility will be to support the team and wider business with their data requirements, which can cover everything from ecommerce order and stock analysis through to warehouse operations statistics from data in a variety of sources and pipelines.
Our office, located on the outskirts of Scarborough, offers convenient access to the A64, Seamer train station, and public transportation, along with free parking.
The role is full time in the office, the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, evolve and expand upon the current data architecture and pipelines.
Evolve and maintain the growing data lake house in Big Query.
Support the business with opinion and advice over best practice data storage.
Complete ad hoc data queries for various stakeholders.
SKILLS
Confidence in extracting and moving data using Fivetran, Dataddo, Apache Airflow or similar.
Knowledge of ETL and Reverse ETL tools, MYSQL Workbench.
Proficient in SQL, with confidence in both understanding and writing queries.
Understanding data modelling best practices within PowerBI.
Experience in a selection of Google Cloud Products such as Big Query, Scheduled Queries, Cloud Bucket would be advantageous, but not necessary as training will be provided.
