What You'll Be Doing:



Designing and building data pipelines across our medallion architecture using tools such as

Azure Data Factory

,

Databricks

,

Spark/Python

, and

SQL Server

. Working with

Microsoft Fabric

to deliver curated, validated data products for our BI and Data Science teams. Building and consuming

APIs

to connect with external data sources and internal systems. Collaborating closely in a

Scrum team

, contributing ideas, questioning the status quo, and helping us continuously improve. Applying data quality checks, root cause analysis, and process documentation to ensure reliable data delivery. Supporting our migration journey from a legacy SQL Server environment to a more modern data stack. Identifying and experimenting with new tools and techniques to enhance our data engineering capability.

What You'll Bring to the Role:



At least

2 years' experience

in data engineering or database development. Hands-on experience with technologies like

Azure

,

SQL Server

,

Microsoft Fabric

,

Databricks

, or similar. Comfortable building and optimising

ETL/ELT pipelines

. Familiarity with

APIs

,

CI/CD processes

, and

Git or Azure DevOps

. A strong grasp of

data modelling

,

data quality controls

, and support for

BI and Data Science

initiatives. A problem-solver's mindset -- keen to trace data issues and troubleshoot complex flows. Great documentation habits and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
