As a Data Engineer with Test Automation, you will work closely with business stakeholders & data analysts and will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining data pipelines and test automation platforms to support business needs

• developing and Validate data pipelines to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
• analyze data from variety of sources, including on-premises databases, cloud-based data stores and API calls.
• performing root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback to development teams using Azure technologies.
• implement data governance and security controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• collaborate with other data engineers and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and automate test cases to meet those needs.
• automate testing on data pipelines/data workflows using Selenium, Python and SQL
• stay up to date with latest Azure technologies and best practices in data engineering.
• work in Agile team
• proficient with SDLC process

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You\'ll be working in the one of the pods in London, UK that sits within the wider Operations Enablement team. Our pod focuses on delivering value to our business clients in Group Legal by building sustainable and efficient cloud-based solutions on by leveraging modern technologies

Your expertise

• university degree in Computer science or equivalent
• solid experience with Python/Java, Selenium and SQL
• must have Automation testing Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• good knowledge on Agile methodology
• must be familiar with Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks and SQL Server
• experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (GitLab/Jenkins)
• familiarity with BI Reporting Tools like Micro Strategy, Power BI is a plus
• familiarity with Azure Infrastructure setup is a plus
• strong Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• curious to learn modern technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
