Data Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Manage and optimize databases and queries using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders to define data requirements
Use Postman to test and document APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and performance across systems.
Monitor scheduled ETL processes, perform root cause analysis of failures, and implement corrective actions.
Implement and maintain documentation for data pipelines, ETL processes, and database structures.
Required Skills:
Proven experience with SSIS and SSMS in a production environment.
Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
Experience with Postman for API testing and automation.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
Experience working with large data sets and optimizing data flows.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
