Job Description

Howarth Timber Group is proud to have been officially recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025!

What does it mean to be a Howarth Timber & Building Supplies Data Input Administrator?

This role is pivotal to supporting the Build Pack Division as we transition from our legacy system to a new internal platform within K8. You'll be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining key data --purchase orders, site details, and plot information -- for first and second fix materials. Your attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and reliable project tracking across the business.

Beyond data input, you'll occasionally support the Internal Sales team during annual leave cover, assisting with delivery planning, call-offs, and handling queries from site managers. It's a role that blends precision with teamwork, helping keep our systems sharp and our service seamless.

Putting people at the heart of what we do

With 185 years' trading experience, the Howarth Timber Group has grown to provide not only the widest range of products, but expertise, service and knowledge you can rely on.

With a nationwide network of branches supplying timber, building and plumbing and heating materials, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms and a dedicated manufacturing division supplying timber engineering services, the Howarth Timber Group is focused on providing market leading choice, quality, service and value.

Built on a passion for service and people, we strive to set the highest standards in the quality of our products, in the continuity of supply and in every aspect of customer service and support. Quality products and processes are what drive our passion, but people are central to everything we do and it's thanks to our loyal workforce that we've built a strong and successful business.

Provide cover for the Internal Sales team during annual leave, assisting with call-offs, delivery coordination, and responding to site manager queries. Take clear and concise minutes during quarterly team meetings and distribute them promptly to relevant stakeholders. Support the Build Pack Division with general administrative tasks, contributing to smooth day-to-day operations. Collaborate with colleagues to improve data processes and suggest system enhancements where appropriate.
