About this opportunity:





We're looking for a Data Management leader to help us modernise to deliver phenomenal & innovative solutions to customers, making sure our data is well run, accurate and trusted, building the foundation for AI and future technology applications.





What you'll be doing:



Recommending, crafting, and leading Data Management solutions and initiatives, championing policy, best practice, and tooling across IP&I. Leading investigations and analysing data to recommend and support solutions for our business areas. As well as finding opportunities to strategically implement data quality controls, data, and risk management practices, mitigating risk, for the benefit of our Colleagues, Customers, and the Group. Collaboratively working with colleagues and senior leaders from different areas across Insurance, Pensions & Investments, and the Group to understand and provide value and insight for our customers. You'll be representing IP&I and ensuring alignment to both IP&I and Group policies. Drive the creation of a detailed view of IP&Is core and critical data by working with business areas, VSs, MCPs and Data Management services lab to improve data quality, mature metadata, data modelling, master data (MDM) and reference data capabilities. Communicating complex messaging to senior management - visually and through "telling the story "In a compelling way.

What you'll need:



Proven experience in leading and developing Data Management, Data Governance policies, frameworks, and practices (including Data Quality, Ontology/Data Classification, and Data Lineage Management) Technical experience in building data quality controls. Knowledge and practical application of leading Data Modelling, Data Structure and Data Storage teams and activities. SME knowledge in Collibra or Ataccama and Data Management tooling Experience of leading and driving Data Governance Forums and Committees Project planning / change management experience.
