We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join our team at HMP Wayland, acategory C men's Prison located in near the village of Griston in Norfolk, England



Hours - The site currently offers Monday - Friday; core office hours



Salary - This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 42,600 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing




As a Data Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will


Assist in the development of management information and reporting systems which will support managers (clinical and non-clinical) in the delivery of operational services. HMP Wayland are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and ability to provide support and guidance, in relation to Business, Quality and Performance. You will be responsible for completing reporting for the prison, working with senior management and informing senior operational management of any ongoing performance against the key service targets. You'll have to carry out general administrative duties within the prison, as well as working within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration team, so will be competent in support a team and inspiring them to achieve and develop. Be responsible for the data management and reporting, working very closely with the Head of Healthcare and organise weekly meetings to report back on the healthcare department

Qualifications required


Experience interpreting and analysing complex data sets Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grade C or above Experience managing teams within a multi-disciplinary environment Experience of data quality and experience developing data quality Ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
