Role: Data Migration Business Analyst
Location: London - onsite 3x per week
Duration: until 31/12/2026
Rate: 405 per day Umbrella
Hydrogen Group are supporting our Banking client in search of a Data Migration Business Analyst to support a major data and application migration programme.
You will play a key role in defining, analysing and delivering requirements for complex data migration initiatives within a multi-supplier environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements
- Lead stakeholder communication across business and technical teams
- Apply strong knowledge of the banking domain and core banking platforms
- Work with BPMN processes and contribute to workflow mapping
- Analyse tables, schemas, data attributes and migration pathways
- Develop data mapping based on migration requirements
- Support impact assessments and contribute to the end-to-end migration approach
- Ensure alignment across multiple suppliers and delivery teams
- Strong experience in data migration projects across Financial Services, preferably Banking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Background in banking and/or financial services
- Experience working in multi-vendor delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with BPMN, data mapping, and requirements analysis
