Exalto Consulting are exclusively representing this fantastic opportunity with a global organisation.

We re looking for a Data Migration Business Analyst ideally with Salesforce CRM experience.
The client are moving from their bespoke product to a Salesforce solution, so you need to have been a lead data migration business analyst on a CRM data migration previously.

This is an initial 4 month contract role, outside IR35, with extensions likely.
The role requires you to be on-site in Wakefield once/twice a week but the client could be flexible on this.

West Yorkshire based candidates are preferred.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Lead the discussion with Subject Matter Experts within the Business and Technical teams to identify, define, and document the business requirements and overall strategy for the data migration activities.

• Execute and manage the data migration process to maximise efficiency and accuracy, whilst collaborating with the internal teams and 3rd party System Integration (SI) partner to ensure that the data design, functionality, and processes are aligned.
• Develop and execute the extraction and transformation scripts/processes/activities from the existing CRM systems and transfer it to the template ready for migration by the SI, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
• Work with the Project team and SI to quickly resolve defects identified during the validation and loading of data to target environments ie throughout various testing phases and ultimately Go-Live/Cutover.
• Determine ways to improve efficiency and accuracy of final data transfer as part of Go-Live/Cutover.
• Escalate any risks or issues encountered or anticipated to the Project Manager as early as possible, to ensure minimal impact to the wider programme.

What we re looking for:

• A strong awareness of proven data migration practices methodologies within the context of a CRM implementation programme.
• Prior experience of working with Salesforce technology and related implementation projects.
• Knowledge of data structures, mapping and migration techniques.
• Knowledge of software development, metrics, automation & reports
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to develop and manage effective stakeholder relationships up to C-Level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
