We are looking for an experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual to join our Digital Services Project Implementation Team as a

Data Migration & Integration

Lead

to support the transition of a number of systems within Children & Young People Services to a single platform.

The role will manage data migrations and integrations for the transition of the Early Years and Education System (EYES), Groupwork, Education, Health and Care Planning (EHCP), Youth Justice Service (YJS), and E-Gov to a single platform. This role will be focused on data migration and integrations as well as working with external suppliers, the external data migration lead and subject matter experts within specific business areas. You will manage and support data discovery, data extracts, data transformations, data mapping, data loading supported by our external supplier and external migration lead.

You will work with project leads, key business stakeholders and systems suppliers to ensure the system is implemented within agreed timescales and meets the needs of the Service relating to all data migration and integration activity.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:




Proven experience in the design, development, and delivery of ETL processes, data mapping, validation and data quality assurance Experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle Experience in P-SQL and/or T-SQL and SSIS package development Experience in the production and maintenance of data extracts (ETL) to support business requirements. Experience in end-to-end migration projects, from data strategy and mapping to validation and execution. Proven success in end-to-end data migration projects. Experience in overseeing and ensuring delivery of the testing and reconciliation of data migrated against source systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.



Key Responsibilities:




Work within the Project Implementation Team to support all deliverables around data migration and integrations relating to the project. Own the delivery of assigned data migration and integration project work packages, from initiation to delivery. Work independently and proactively, maintaining clear documentation and reporting to support data migration. Ensure technical data migration solutions meet business needs and are delivered to a high standard. Maintain structured and up-to-date documentation for all migration activities. Maintain standards for clean, consistent, and verifiable data loading into customer environments.
