Join our Data, Analytics and AI team as a Data Programme Lead!




We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme and Project Manager to join our team on a

6 Month Fixed term contract

.


In this key role, you'll lead a collection of projects within our Modern Data Platform programme, playing a key part in driving forward the Group's corporate strategy. You'll be central to transforming our data landscape, using your expertise to manage planning, coordination, risk and issue management, and governance reporting. You'll also assess the wider environment, shape compelling business cases, and support the successful delivery of the programme.

Some of the essential things we are looking for:



Experience of leading the delivery of an enterprise-scale data environment A strong, demonstrable understanding of modern data Lakehouse and cloud environments Comprehensive experience of successfully managing a portfolio of projects and programmes and delivering large scale projects Substantial experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure successful delivery Experience of developing business cases and providing benefit realisation mechanisms Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills with the ability to understand needs and articulate to the business and the board Experience within a Microsoft environment would be considered beneficial Flexibility to work outside of core hours as necessary

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
