A Bit About the Role

This is a newly created role where you'll collaborate closely with senior managers to develop reporting and visualisations that help drive business decisions and improve performance. You'll take raw data and turn it into clear, accurate, and timely insights that empower key stakeholders across the organisation.

The position is office-based in Dalbeattie. Our operating hours are 08.30-17.00.

Your Experience

Exposure to business or data environments through education, early work experience, or a similar entry-level role with analytical responsibilities

Skilled in Excel, data manipulation, and database querying; experience with Power BI and other Microsoft tools is a plus

Comfortable working with sensitive data, exercising discretion and judgement

Able to translate complex data into simple, engaging insights for non-technical audiences

Collaborative, organised, and proactive in managing multiple stakeholder needs and reporting requests

What You'll Be Doing

Gather, analyse, and report on live data covering sales, stock, customers, and finance to support business operations

Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights

Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that help drive smarter decisions

Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort

Support the integrity of data architecture and scalable reporting frameworks across the business

Deliver timely ad hoc analysis and insights to support special projects and urgent queries
