With the development of new products within JT Group, the SRA S&H Data Analysis team is experiencing a growing demand for statistical analyses to support product launches, regulatory submissions, and registrations. To strengthen this effort, we are seeking a Junior Data Science Manager who will contribute to data analysis projects and help maintain and enhance the SRA big data platform, including dashboarding and machine learning functionalities.
Position Overview:
As a Data Science Manager, you will:

• Support the proper handling and organisation of data across the SRA Big Data platform
• Assist with running syntax in Python/R/SAS to produce clear and accurate outputs (e.g., tables, figures) for internal and external stakeholders
• Apply appropriate scientific and statistical methods under guidance, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to build strong working relationships
• Stay curious, open to feedback, and committed to learning new data science and statistical techniques

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (preferred)
• Some experience in data science, statistics, or a similar analytical role, with exposure to machine learning techniques, is a plus, but not essential
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exposure to MS Azure, Databricks, and Power BI is an advantage
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, R, or SAS)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical results in a business-friendly way
• Enthusiasm for technology, problem-solving, and teamwork
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus

In return, we offer a competitive salary of 65.000- 71.000 per annum, dependent on experience and a car allowance of 7,611 per annum.
