Key Responsibilities

Develop, refine, and maintain predictive and ML models using AWS SageMaker. Explore large datasets and engineer features that drive insight and accuracy. Run experiments and fine-tune models to maximise predictive value. Monitor performance and establish processes for recalibration. Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Analysts. Engage with stakeholders to address real-world challenges. Document processes and support knowledge-sharing across institutions. Contribute to the expansion of predictive analytics into new areas.

About You

You're an analytical thinker with a passion for turning data into action. With strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate insights clearly, you thrive at the intersection of data, business, and education.


Essential:



Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. 3+ years of professional experience in data science roles. Expertise in Python, SQL, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Hands-on experience with AWS ML stack (SageMaker, Lambda, Redshift). Strong applied ML, predictive analytics, and modelling skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable:



Master's degree or AWS certifications. Experience in higher education or multi-system environments. Exposure to big data platforms or advanced ML frameworks.
