What You'll Be Doing:



Innovative Design:

Research and design multiple end-to-end solutions for enterprise customers simultaneously.

Problem Solving:

Identify and address concern areas such as governance, security, maturity, adoption, and functional/non-functional requirements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project members and customers to ensure project timelines, development, and deliverables are on track, while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

Education & Training:

Educate, train, and build knowledge of enterprise data platforms and solutions with customers and internal teams.

Continuous Learning:

Stay current with technical and industry developments, including pursuing relevant certifications.

Documentation:

Document all designs and solutions meticulously.

Consultative Approach:

Maintain a consultative approach to all projects.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:



Expertise:

Deep knowledge and significant experience in delivering Big Data architecture and design solutions.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience in data cataloguing, modelling, warehousing, and analytics.

Security & Governance:

Proven understanding of security and governance principles.

Tools:

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Tableau, and Power BI.

Cloud Services:

Strong understanding of Azure or AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).

Frameworks:

Understanding of Well Architected frameworks, security principles, and Agile/Waterfall project lifecycle.

Database Knowledge:

Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

Design & Implementation:

Experience with three or more of the following: Azure Synapse, Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Mongo DB, Redshift, S3, Stream Analytics, Kinesis, Azure Data Factory, IoT Hub, Azure ML Studio, SageMaker Modelling, Azure Data Lake Gen2, HD Insight.

Desirable Skills:



Programming:

Knowledge of SQL and Python.

DevOps:

Experience with Azure DevOps.

IoT:

Expertise in IoT design architecture.

Master Data Management:

Experience in Master Data Management design.

Qualifications:

Architecture and cloud-related qualifications such as TOGAF.
