Job Description

Oxford Economics, a leading economic forecasting and consulting firm, is looking to hire a talented and motivated Data Visualization Specialist to join our growing consulting teams. This individual must be creative and independent and should take pride in producing high quality work on a timely basis in collaboration with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities


Development of customised templates for PowerPoint and Word, aligned to the new brand colours. Development of a customised PowerPoint and Word document builder to create a consistent skeleton structure and automatically populate boilerplate content. Build out a wider set of visual assets for PowerPoint and Word, including stable Word graphics (e.g., callout boxes and related components). Enhancement of infographic builder tools, including bespoke alternatives to SmartArt for timelines, processes, and visualising findings/results. Develop exhibit/graphics libraries and a process to easily integrate assets into documents. Enhance current templates to include a wider range of charts and chart styles. For all of the above, integration with Microsoft Copilot is highly desirable. Develop internal guidance and capability in data visualisation best practice through examples and/or training. Provide input to projects and proposals as required. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


Experience in a data visualisation, presentation design, document automation, or similar role. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, with demonstrated experience building templates, reusable assets, and structured layouts; a portfolio of relevant work is strongly preferred. Experience with Microsoft 365 automation tooling, add-in development, or similar productivity tooling is a plus. Familiarity with data visualisation best practice and the ability to translate analytical outputs into clear, compelling exhibits for a consulting audience. Good writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear internal guidance and training materials when required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., design, information systems, computer science, business analytics) or equivalent professional experience. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
