Duties
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring efficient processing of sales orders and customer inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using computerised systems.
Prepare and generate reports using Excel to track sales performance and assist in forecasting.
Communicate effectively with clients via email and phone to address inquiries and provide updates on orders.
Organise and coordinate meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals using Word.
Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring that all resources are available for the sales team.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support for sales initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role is preferred.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues alike.
