Job Summary

Database Developer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement efficient database solutions using

SQL

PL/SQL

,

Oracle

,

Microsoft SQL Server

, and other relevant technologies. Develop and optimize

ETL

processes utilizing tools like

SSIS

and scripting languages such as

Python

and

Java

to facilitate data integration and transformation. Create comprehensive

data models

and

database designs

to support data warehouses, reporting systems, and application requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications. Maintain data integrity, security, and performance across multiple platforms including

Linux

environments. Participate in Agile development cycles, providing technical expertise during planning, development, testing, and deployment phases. Troubleshoot database issues, perform performance tuning, and implement best practices for database management. Document database architecture, processes, and procedures for ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Experience

Proven experience as a

Database Developer

or similar role with a strong portfolio of developing complex databases across various platforms such as

Oracle

,

SQL Server

, or equivalent systems. Extensive knowledge of

data modeling

,

database design

, and

data warehouse

concepts. Hands-on experience with

ETL

tools like

SSIS

, along with scripting languages including

Python

and

Java

for automation tasks. Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Familiarity with SAP integration or modules is a plus. Experience working within an

Agile

environment is preferred. Strong analysis skills to interpret complex data requirements into scalable database solutions. Knowledge of operating systems such as

Linux
