About the Role
As a DC Deployment Engineer you will be responsible for the installation of new physical deployments and will be engaged in the design and layout of large scale GPU infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Delivering large scale datacenter deployments, making sure cutting-edge GPU infrastructure is optimised for performance and maintainability.
Engineer complex rack layouts, integrating high-performance compute, networking and storage solutions.
Hardware and software deployment and configuration in datacenter environments
Installing and configuring physical servers and racks as well as the operating systems, virtualization platforms, and container orchestration systems
Adhere to structured cabling and deployment standards, mapping out optimal cable pathways, lengths and streamlining installation.
Configure critical network infrastructure, including initial firewall/router and switch setups to support high-performance computing environments.
About You
Skills & Experience
Overall datacentre engineering experience
Advanced knowledge of Structured and Fibre Cabling
Good experience with large scale datacenter deployments, particularly with GPU based infrastructure
Advanced knowledge of AOC/DAC/optics and fibre interface standards.
Strong working knowledge of network and server hardware.
Experience working with BOMs to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
Significant previous datacenter experience in deployment, design or operations.
Familiarity with CMDB tooling such as NetBox.
Nice to have:
Working knowledge and experience of using Infiniband fabrics
Working knowledge of fat tree or rail-optimised designs for AI workloads
Ability to perform performance level diagnostics on AI fabric
Please Note: This role will require ~50%+ travel to our European sit

We're currently working remotely, but plan to transition to a hybrid working model in 2025 as we look to secure a modern office space in London.
