We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Day Care Assistant to join our vibrant elderly care team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of older adults by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Duties

Assist other care staff in implementing daily activities that promote Social interaction for elderly adults. Support Elderly persons during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times Support residents with Nutritional needs and all aspects of personal care , within health and safety guidelines Help maintain a clean and organized Home environment. Observe and document Resident's progress, behavior, or important information on to Care Vision on their individualized care plans

Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day activities and developmental updates

Skills

Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for infants through preschoolers First aid certification and ability to respond calmly in emergency situations Experience with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social skills among children Excellent caregiving abilities with a nurturing approach to support emotional well-being Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively while maintaining a lively, engaging environment

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
