Job Description
Day Care Assistant required for 22 hours per week with the view to full time hours in the future.

The Role & Responsibility
Caring for Dementia residents with in the care home environment. To ensure that care is delivered in a safe manner that promotes person centred care, dignity and respect to the residents. Delivering personal care. Assisting with nutrition and hydration ensuring the residents achieve their targets daily. Monitor and document client health and behaviour. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the well-being of clients.
Personal Attributes
Compassionate, patient and committed to maintaining the residents individuality and dignity. Good communication and English language skills. Flexibility and self-motivated. Be a caring individual. Have a good understanding of food & fluid charts, weight monitoring and additional charts needed for individual residents. Have a good understanding of Dementia.
Qualifications
Previous care experience is required but not essential.
