About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join our team at Newgate Lodge Care Home. If you have a passion for caring and want to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, we'd love to hear from you! No experience? No problem - we provide full training and support to help you develop in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality,

person-centred care

to residents Assist with

daily living activities

, including

personal care, mobility, and mealtimes

Offer

companionship

and emotional support to residents Work as part of a team to create a warm and caring environment Follow care plans and ensure residents' dignity, choice, and independence Ensure

compliance with CQC and Local Authority

guidelines

Who We're Looking For:

A kind, caring, and patient nature Good communication and teamwork skills A willingness to learn and develop Previous care experience is helpful but not essential - full training provided!

Shift Pattern:

You will be working

12-hour shifts

when you are allocated/select shifts. We have a rota management tool which enables you to see at least 4 weeks in advance of available shifts. Additional shifts are available to cover annual leave and sickness.
