Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Duties



Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Follow individual care plans to deliver personalised care tailored to each client's needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Promote social interaction and emotional well-being of clients through meaningful engagement Support clients with medication management under supervision where applicable Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed (driving skills preferred)

Experience



Prior experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately Basic IT skills for documentation purposes Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of clients or errands

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 22,857.12 per year
