Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties
- Create and implement care plans for residents
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Assist residents with personal care tasks
- Support residents with mobility and transfers
- Engage in effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings as required
Skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Experience in home care or similar environment is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards others
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of residents
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00-13.40 per hour
