We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, assisting with daily activities and promoting well-being. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible Follow personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Support clients with medication reminders and other health-related tasks as required Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times Use IT systems to update care records and communicate relevant information securely Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when necessary (driving preferred but not essential)

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Good command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and team members Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues A valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of clients but is not mandatory for all positions
