We are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaner to join our exceptional cleaning team. This role is based at
Maxime Court
, a retirement flat complex in Swansea.The position involves ensuring all communal areas are consistently clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors. This includes the
communal hallways, stairwells, laundry, refuse room, kitchen, lounge
, andguest suite turnaround
when required. Duties also include thecollection and disposal of waste
and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all allocated areas.You will work in partnership with the on-site
House Manager
to maintain a safe and pleasant environment. The role requires adhering to safe working practices and assisting with any special arrangements when needed.Hours & Shift Pattern
This is an
8-hour per week
position:Monday:
3 hoursWednesday:
2 hoursFriday:
3 hoursUsual working time:
9:30am - 12:30am Monday and Friday, 9.30 to 11.30 Wednesday. Timings are open for negotiation.Skills and Experience Required
Full driving licence and own transport Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently Ability to understand written and verbal instructions Knowledge and use of basic cleaning equipment and materials Honesty, integrity, and a professional, approachable attitude Self-motivated with a positive, "can-do" approach Reliable and punctual Understanding of H&S requirements and cleaning experience desirable (training provided) Physically fit and able to carry out a role involving significant physical activityJob Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Experience:
cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
driving license (preferred)
