Overview

We are an expectant family preparing to welcome our first baby and are looking for

two experienced, nurturing nannies

:

Day Nanny:

Support us during the day with newborn care once the baby arrives

Night Nanny:

Provide overnight care, ensuring both baby and parents get rest

We'd like candidates to

start before the baby is born

to help with nursery setup, shopping for essentials, and building a relationship with the family so everyone feels comfortable and confident once full-time care begins.

Day Nanny Responsibilities:

Full daytime newborn care: feeding, nappy changes, bathing, settling Establishing routines and supporting development Light nursery duties (laundry, tidying, sterilising bottles) Helping parents prepare for newborn care and giving guidance

Night Nanny Responsibilities:

Overnight support: feeding, nappy changes, settling baby Helping parents get rest while maintaining baby's routine Light night-time nursery duties as needed Supporting parents with newborn care tips and guidance

Pre-Birth Responsibilities for Both Roles:

Assist with nursery setup and organisation Help with shopping for baby essentials Offer guidance on equipment, routines, and preparation Begin building a trusting relationship with the family

Requirements (Both Roles):

Experience with newborns and infants Paediatric First Aid certification preferred Calm, patient, nurturing, and professional Flexible availability for early mornings, day shifts, or overnight shifts Friendly, proactive, and supportive approach
