We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Responsible Individual to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, communicating effectively with parents, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. The Registered Individual will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children and fostering their development.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare practices. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about their child's progress. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in early childhood education. Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and physical development. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community through outreach and engagement activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable. Experience working with children in a nursery setting is preferred. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development is crucial.
