Prorated to P/T hours = 26,019

9 months FTC


Hours: Part-time - 3 days/week (22.8 hours a week)

About the Role:

We're looking for a proactive and compassionate leader to develop and implement an innovative day opportunities service for people with learning disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape a flexible, person-centred model that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead service design and pilot delivery Engage stakeholders and secure community partnerships Develop policies, guidance, and sustainability plans

Requirements

Person Specification (E - Essential, D - Desirable)

Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in Social Care, Community Development, or related field (D)

Experience:

Proven experience in project management within social care or community development (E) Strong understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities (E) Experience in stakeholder engagement and co-production approaches (E) Familiarity with funding models and sustainability planning (D) Experience and Knowledge of social enterprise models and community hubs (E)

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (E) Ability to write clear, inclusive policies and easy-read guidance (E)

Personal Attributes:

Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable (E) Collaborative approach with strong problem-solving skills (E) Commitment to person-centred principles and inclusion (E)

Other Requirements:
