As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. What you'll do



Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document vital signs, changes in health status, and overall well-being of residents. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to cater to individual dietary needs. Implement care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living spaces, ensuring a safe environment for all residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective strategies for memory care, Alzheimer's care, and other specialized needs.

Experience



Previous experience in senior care or long-term care settings is highly preferred. Proficiency in first aid and CPR certification is essential for ensuring resident safety. Familiarity with working with individuals , or dementia is advantageous. Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring are crucial for identifying changes in health conditions. Experience using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts is beneficial for providing safe support during transfers. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to dietary restrictions is a plus. A background in social work or nursing can enhance your ability to connect with residents on a deeper level.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
