Summary

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Trentham House Care Home in Trentham. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting their independence.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents in accordance with their individual needs. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene. Supervise junior staff members and support their development through guidance and training. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement effective care plans. Maintain accurate records of resident progress and communicate any changes to the management team. Foster a positive environment that encourages resident participation in activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home. Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance personal skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior care role within a care home environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members. Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Ability to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and safety practices. IT proficiency for maintaining records and documentation. A caring attitude towards elderly individuals with diverse needs. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
