Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in our care home and , ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, adhering to care plans, and fostering a positive environment for those in our care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support individuals in following their personalised care plans, ensuring their specific needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care progress. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. . Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes efficiently. Foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere within the care home or during home visits.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with residents and team members. Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and using communication tools. A caring nature with a passion for helping others is essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when working independently.
