Support the Daycare Operations Manager (DOM) to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and activities. Deputise for the DOM in their absence or as and when required. To coordinate the day-to-day operations of our daycare service, ensuring that individuals attending have a positive and engaging experience. This includes overseeing staff and volunteers, organising activities, maintaining accurate records, supporting individual plans, and contributing to the ongoing development of the service.
Key Responsibilities
Service Coordination & Leadership
Ensure adequate staffing levels, arranging cover for absence and contributing to the recruitment process.
Assist with and conduct regular supervision, support and performance reviews for staff and volunteers.
Conducting, preparing, implementing and monitoring needs assessments and re-assessments as required.
Liaising with members of the public and all referral agencies including statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
Liaise with the DOM and other staff to ensure volunteer needs are met.
Client Support & Engagement
Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals, their families, and carers.
Support individuals in developing and maintaining their personal plans, ensuring records are accurate and regularly reviewed.
Plan and deliver stimulating daily activities and events tailored to participants' needs and interests in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Monitor and promote attendance and engagement in the service.
Operations & Administration
Manage and administer payment systems and records.
Administer and monitor petty cash.
Ensure all records, databases, and documentation are accurate, confidential, and up to date.
Managing transport coordination and liaising with transport providers to ensure safe and appropriate transport arrangements.
Contribute to fundraising and development initiatives for the service.
Supporting the DOM to ensure full compliance of office and daycentre management.
Liaise with clients to resolve billing issues and secure payment of overdue accounts.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Follow and implement all relevant policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Assist the DOM with full compliance of legislative and statutory requirements.
Identify and report and log safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately.
To deliver and participate in regular supervisions, team meetings, and service development discussions
Promotion of Services
Representing the organisation as required
Supporting promotional activities, including presentations about the full range of Enfield Carers Centre Services.
Other Duties:
Adhering to the Code of Conduct and health and safety legislation.
Upholding the organisation's philosophy, policies, and commitment to equal opportunities.
Adhering to confidentiality, privacy and GDPR guidelines.
Performing other duties as required by senior management, commensurate with the role.
To be conversant with all Enfield Carer Centre services and their promotion as required.
