Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a variety of settings, including care homes and home care environments. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans to ensure their specific needs are met. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport. Document care provided accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. A strong ability to communicate effectively in English is required. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. A genuine passion for helping others and providing exceptional care is essential.
